EXHIBITS MOVE-IN & MOVE-OUT NOTICE

 

To better prepare for the TAITRONICS 2008, the organizer requests your cooperation with exhibits move-in and move-out in accordance with the following instructions:

 

I、EXHIBITS MOVE-IN

(1) Dates and Time8 a.m. ~ 5 p.m., October 2 ~ 6, 2008.

(2) Exhibitors during move-in hours collect their badges and a complimentary copy of the Official Directory and related information at the reception counter by showing their business cards together with the completed Booth Construction Assurance Form . Four exhibitor’s badges will be issued with the first booth and two for each additional booth provided.

(3) Please note during move-in

A.The booth is 3m x 3m raw space only, including 500 watts (110V) electricity power supply. All booth decorations and exhibits should be set up before 5 p.m. on October 6, 2008.

B.According to fire-precaution regulations of Nangang Exhibition Hall, both exhibition areas located on the ground and the fourth floors (lower exhibition hall and upper exhibition hall) are divided into 8 districts each by the crossing 6-meter wide walking aisles. (Every district should not exceed 3,000 square meters in measure.) Every standard booth (3m x 3m) along the edge of each district and the linear booths adjacent to the south (north) wall must entirely adopt incombustible materials in their booths' decoration in order to prevent the accidental fire spreading. (Please refer to “Exhibition Manual”.

C.Exhibitors and contractors should be responsible for their own exhibits and decorations. TAITRA cannot be held liable for any damage or theft.

D.NOTE dedicated entrances for passengers and vehicles into NANGANG Exhibition Hall. All trucks should enter and exit from JingMao 1st Rd.

E.To move cargo up to the 4th floor (upper Exhibition Hall) exhibitors and contractors should use the freight elevators, or they can use the transport ramp on the east side to reach the 4th floor. The maximum weight of trucks allowed to enter is 2 tons / sq. meter. Trucks of 40 feet in length can drive directly into 4th floor exhibition hall from the transport ramp. The cargo dock at the 4th floor exhibition hall is 36.9 meters high and 26.9 meters wide.

F.There is a 4 meter clearance height for all trucks entering all entrances. Trucks exceeding the 4 meter limit (with or without goods) must have previous approval, and applications must be submitted to the Management Section of NANGANG Exhibition Hall. Permits of entry will specify designated routes and times of entry. Height clearance for each area is as follows:

1st Floor  ---  Area I5 meter clearance

Area J4.9 meter clearance

Area K5 meter clearance

4th Floor  ---  Area L4.3 meter clearance

Area M8.7 meter clearance

Area N4.2 meter clearance

The entrance of lower floor cargo route is 8 meters

The entrance at the upper level of the cargo route is 6.7 meters

G.For the security and safety of the building, a written request must be submitted before September 26 to the Management section of the NANGANG Exhibition Hall for permits to allow trucks with total weights of up to 15 tons (based on what is labeled on the vehicle or the driver’s license). This regulation includes cranes or tow trucks.

(3) VISITING TAITRONICS 2008

International buyers: register online at: www.taitronics.org/taipei

(pick up visitor’s badge with a confirmation letter at show grounds)

Local professionals: 1. open to visitors with admission tickets

2. open to the public, tickets are NT$ 200 each

3. 12 years old and under not allowed to enter.

(4) Exhibitors are prohibited from sub-letting portions or whole booth(s). Violators will result in immediate removal of the displays and the exhibitor and other party will not be permitted to participate in this same event for 2 years.

(5) FREE WLAN service: WLAN wireless internet service is available throughout NANGANG Exhibition Hall which will provide simultaneous wireless connection for up to 4,000 people.

(6) Exhibitors are responsible for their own exhibits and decoration. TAITRA cannot be held liable for any damage or theft.

(7) Operation

A. The Exhibitor shall keep his booth(s) staffed at all times during show hours.

B. Exhibitors with promotional events, wall television, sound system, and balloon should apply with organizer and provide deposit in advance. Volume of the sound system cannot exceed 85 decibels. Violator will first receive verbal or written warning then a fine of NT$50,000. If continued, power will be disconnected. (For further details please refer to the Exhibitor’s Manual)

C. The Show Management reserves the right to reject the exhibits or to stop the exhibition on the exhibitor's account, if he fails to lower the noise level or to resolve exhibition pollution such as dust, smog, unpleasant odors, the emission of stimulating gases, volatile organic chemicals, or other pollutants.

 

III、EXHIBITS MOVE-OUT

2. Due to insurance regulations, cargo push carts (with or without goods) or items with lengths and widths over the width and height of an escalator step is prohibited to be transported by escalator.

3. The cargo dock of east side on the 4th floor (upper floor) will open ONLY for the 4th floor exhibitor’s vehicles to load. The cargo dock has a capacity of 20 vehicles (Height clearance is 4 meters and weight clearance is 6.5 tons). Please depart as soon as possible. No vehicles are permitted to park in the transport ramp. Stopping cars against the traffic rule will be dispersed enforcedly. Please follow the command of Exhibition Hall guards.

4. For safety insurance, any persons are prohibited passing the Cargo Exit on the 4th floor.

(4) Forklift not allowed entry into exhibition hall.

(5) All items for exhibition, materials for decoration, and waste must be completely cleaned up and transported away from the exhibition grounds before the end of the move-out period and must not affect the proceedings of the next and/or later exhibitions.

(6) Exhibitors(s) and contractors should be responsible for their own exhibits and decorations, and TAITRA cannot be held liable for any damage or theft.

VI、TRANSPORTATION TO NANGANG HALL

(1) MRT to Kuyang Station

(2) Parking: NANAGNG Hall (620 spaces), R53 temporary parking (147 spaces), C2 for large vehicles or buses, C3 and C4 temporary parking (1,300 spaces), Ju-ting Parking Lot ( 700 spaces), Xingzhong Parking Tower (647 spaces).

(3) Visitor entrance is on west side, Jing Mao 2nd Rd. and all exhibits and contractor trucks must enter and exit on east side, Jing Mao 1st Rd.

(4) Passengers drop off and shuttle buses boarding is at west side of front entrance. Taxis stands are at the east side, Jing Mao 1st Rd.
