13屆全球自行車設計比賽決選作品搶先看 IBDC全球自行車設計比賽十三年悠久歷史，孕育自行車原創設計，共計87國9652件優秀創意曾於此角逐競賽，不斷引發出國際流行趨勢，更活化自行車產品新生命。全球自行車設計比賽的願景就是藉由此比賽孕育出有潛力，有創造力的設計師。 『第十三屆全球自行車設計比賽』報名件數共計有938件分別來自全球55個國家之作品報名參賽，於2008年8月底初賽評審評選出21件入選作品進入決賽較勁，角逐高額獎金新台幣50萬元，而各項得獎名次將於2009年3月17日頒獎典禮隆重公佈。此屆比賽進入決賽階段的優秀作品，有來自羅馬尼亞、哥倫比亞、印度、泰國、斯洛伐克、中國大陸、德國及台灣等國家。綜觀今年的作品，因應全球各大城市節能減碳的需求，除了有能輕便搭配公共運輸工具的折疊自行車與公共自行車設計，更有部分作品將自行車從原本的代步工具這個機能逐漸轉向成為一個複合式的新型載具型態而且大多著重於多功能性的訴求。由此可見，自行車已不再是一般大家印象中的騎乘工具，透過設計師們的巧思與創意，它可以為人們的生活增添許多意想不到的實用性與趣味性！ 配合2009年台北國際自行車展，於車展首日(2009年3月17日星期二)盛大舉辦頒獎典禮，邀請國內外產官學研各界人士蒞臨會場，典禮中除了隆重宣佈並頒發各項獎項，主辦單位更特別規劃辦理「2009國際自行車趨勢論壇」，除了邀請各國際知名自行車大廠董事長或CEO，與現場與會的貴賓進行精彩的交鋒對話。還有法國巴黎Velib系統專案負責人Mr. Matthieu FIERLING公用自行車系統經驗分享，另外更有與風雲折疊車Strida & IF Mode 設計師 Mr. Mark Sanders，共探自行車設計新趨勢。歡迎您共襄盛舉!   Title of Entry ±X Country China Designer(s) Kun Shao（邵坤） Hongyu Sun（孫宏雨） Hsu, Peng-Yueh（徐鵬越） Chinese Description 『±X』可以針對騎乘者的需求變換3種不同的車架形式，是一台結合功能與休閒樂趣的自行車。簡單的機構變換形式，操作時並不需用到複雜的工具。 Description 『±X』 bike can be transformed into 3 different forms according to the needs of riders. This bike combines functionalities and recreational fun. The bike can be folded and transformed into a trolley. What’s more, the process of the folding is simple and that space saving is easily achieved after folding.   Title of Entry 24/7 City Pedelec Country Germany Designer(s) Philipp Guenther Chinese Description 『24/7』是一台專為城市中的通勤族與觀光客設計的公共自行車，特別針對給每日使用量高,且頻繁更換騎乘者的需求而設計，設計重點在於高永續使用性、低維修費用、個性化並兼具人體工程學。封閉的外覆設計可以保護較脆弱的零件使其不受天氣或外力的破壞，電力輔助的自動化座椅調整可以隨時適應不同使用者的變換。 Description 24/7 is a temporary vehicle for transit commuters and tourists in urban areas. The bike´s design is customized for the special requirements of daily heavy duty and constant changing users. Most important aspects are high sustainability, low maintenance costs, individualization, and ergonomics. A compact and closed frame structure protects vulnerable parts and mechanisms from outer effects like weather, wear-out and vandalism. This bicycle uses fewer parts thus it is easier and simpler to make. With this in mind, this concept is less cost demanding and more environmental friendly from a production point of view. This bicycle combines a new type of frame that folds in a very simple and intuitive way with a clean and practical design. A2Be is simple and friendly to use; it's light, safe and reliable. It uses hub-less wheels which distribute energy in a more efficient manner. The external mounted power pack design integrates a motor, a control unit and a battery. It allows users to remove and install with a quick-release system. One can have the bike with power pack for daily commuting, or without power pack for weekend exercise. The front and rear wheels are positioned paralleled to each other after fully folded, of which also allows for towing the bike whilst walking. But it can also be used on nice village paths. The new folding system is created to give users an opportunity to store the bike in very small spaces like car boot, basement, train…etc. The target group for this design has no limits, everyone can use it. The materials used for most parts of the body are recycled plastic fibres, cardboards, and eco-friendly polish. The lighting is supported by high luminous LED-diodes. The most parts of the bicycle body can be folded into a small shape. I use 16inch wheels. People can change various "clothes” of the bike and then showed off its appearance, just like people dressing up for themselves. The "clothes” of the bike is easy to wash and can be put into washing machine for cleaning. It has the convenience of a single bike as well as the fun of putting a tandem bike together. Description “Cycle Man” is an electric bike that provides a folding function without compromising performance. The unibody construction of front light and frame creates a fashionable sense of smooth design. The easy folding mechanism allows users to carry in and out of public transport in no time. It is also very easy to operate and suitable for people with different heights. There is a locking system after folding the bike. The streamline design and simple operation make it suitable for female consumers. It’s light weight, manoeuvrable, weather resistant, rugged, care free, and elegant. The sturdy frame,   running gear, and small wheels all provide manoeuvrability in dense traffic and narrow roadway. A basket is integrated into the collapsible design, of which can carry the rider’s belongings.   Title of Entry POD Country Taiwan Designer(s) Chia-Ming, Chu（朱家明） Chinese Description Pod 是一台簡約設計的可折疊式腳踏車，最主要的特色是其外殼的設計．折疊後外觀就與一般背包無異，殼內附上隱藏式的背帶可自動收納．整合式前後車燈，這是於都市騎乘單車的基本安全配備． Description Pod is a foldable compact bike, and the key feature is the shell design. Using the integrated strap inside the shell, the bike can be folded and appears just like a backpack. It is convenient for transporting water especially in Africa and administer relief to people who are suffering from floods. STRONGER can also float when the storage tanks are empty, and be used as an entertainment sports on water.     Title of Entry Take It Easy Country Taiwan Designer(s) Feng,Cheng-Tsung (范承宗) WANG,BO-JIN (王伯晉) Chinese Description 「Take It Easy」是一台輕便的折疊自行車，折疊方式簡單並且能夠像行李箱那樣托拉，攜帶方便且省力。可以帶到大眾運輸工具上，補足大眾運輸的不足，帶來點到點抵達目的地的便利。 Description “Take It Easy" is a convenient folding bicycle. It’s different from the traditional folding bike, the refined folding process is simple and easy, and may be pulled away like a suitcase. It is also light, handy, convenient and effortless to carry. The bike is easy to take onto public transports, making up for public transport’s inconvenience by allowing point-to-point transportation.
