How to get to the TWTC Exhibition Halls
Whether you are a buyer or an exhibitor, TAITRA welcomes you to Taipei. To assist you in planning your trip in advance, we have prepared the following information for you.
Local Transportation
A. CKS Airport <-->Taipei
There are several bus routes to choose from and operate between CKS Airport and Taipei City including downtown Taipei and the Grand Hyatt, Select the bus which best servers your destinations,
(1) Airport Buses
Buses leave every 10 to 30 minutes from Terminal One. Those entering the Arrival Area after leaving Customs, can proceed to the left side of the Hall to purchase bus tickets and board buses. A one way ticket costs NT$120. The trip usually takes about an hour.
(2) Airport Taxi
A 50% surcharge is allowed over the fare shown on the taxi meter for journeys from CKS Airport. The average fare (plus surcharge) to Taipei is about NT$1,200.
(3) Hotel Limousine and Shuttle Bus
Major hotels provide this service to and from the Airport for their guests.
B. Taipei Sungshan Domestic Airport or Taipei Railway Station <--> Your Hotel
Taking a taxi is recommended between the two above locations and your hotel.
C. CKS Airport <--> Sungshan Domestic Airport
There is a shuttle bus, available from 6.00 am to 10.30pm,that runs between the international airport and Sungshan Domestic Airport. These coaches are air-conditioned and have ample space for luggage. A single fare is NT$111. Sungshan has a second class bus making the run for NT$54.
D. Your Hotel <--> TWTC Exhibition Hall
The organizers of COMPUTEX TAIPEI, provides free-of-charge one-way shuttle buses from the Exhibition Hall to major hotels. Note that taxi travel within Taipei is also both economical and convenient.
(1) Taxi
Taxis are the most convenient way for visitors to get around in Taipei. However, very few drivers speak English, so always have your destination written down in Chinese or show this map guide to the driver to indicate where you are heading before starting out. Most yellow taxis can be flagged down along main streets. Taxi meters start at NT$70 for the first 1.5 km and NT$5 for each additional 300 meters. Waiting time is NT$5 for every two minutes. Between 11 pm and 6 am, the meters start at NT$70 for the first 1.25km, with NT$5 for each additional 250 meters, and NT$5 for every 1 minute and 40 seconds of waiting time. Receipts are available upon request. Tipping is not necessary.
(2) Bus
Air-conditioned city buses are frequent and plentiful, and fares differ according to the distance traveled. A single section fare is NT$15. Pay upon boarding or getting off according to instructions. Bus over (to the TWTC stop)on bus routes 1,20,22,33,38,226,288,292 and the Hsin-Yi Line.

(3) MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) MRT map
Just hop on the Pannan(blue)Line and get off at Taipei City Hall Station- a 10 minutes walk to the TWTC.
Taking MRT is also a smart way to get to TWTC Exhibition hall, simply take Bannan Line to station and take 537, B5 or 266 bus directly to TWTC Exhibition Hall
If you are on other MRT lines here's how you should transfer
For passengers on Danshui, Xindian and Zhonghe lines
and transfer to Bannan line
For passengers on Muzha line
and transfer to Bannan line
